Brazil: David Miranda, que vai substituir Jean Wyllys, já manda recado a Bolsonaro

São Paulo – Com o anúncio surpresa de que Jean Wyllys não assumirá seu terceiro mandato como deputado federal e vai deixar o país devido às ameaças que tem recebido, as atenções se voltam para seu suplente, David Miranda.

Eleito vereador pelo Rio de Janeiro em 2016, o carioca de 33 anos se descreve no Twitter como “Preto, Favelado e Primeiro vereador LGBT do RJ, midialivrista e pela causa animal.”

David cresceu na favela do Jacarezinho, não conheceu seu pai e sua mãe morreu quando ele tinha 5 anos, segundo seu perfil no Facebook.

Na tarde desta quinta-feira (24), ele mandou uma mensagem para o presidente na rede social: “Nos vemos em Brasília”.

Nas eleições do ano passado, Miranda se tornou o primeiro suplente da coligação “Mudar é possível”, composta por PSOL e PCB. Ele recebeu 17.356 votos.

Ele é casado há 13 anos com Glenn Greenwald, o jornalista americano que revelou em 2012, com Edward Snowden, o alcance das ferramentas de vigilância global dos Estados Unidos.
