The hearings of the four men suspected of assaulting a young trans woman took place on Thursday 12 December.

Nana * was celebrating her 25th birthday on Saturday December 7 when the events occurred.

A transphobic assault

In an interview with the Parisian , Nana explains that she and her friends, after their evening, made a lot of noise early in the morning on a street in Bordeaux. This caught the attention of four " completely drunk " men, who immediately became abusive and violent.

They quickly realize that Nana is trans, and the tone goes up a notch. A violent altercation then occurs between her attackers and the young woman, who is trying to defend herself. " The first one tears my wig from my head and lifts it up, as if it were a trophy, " says Nana. " At that time, I can't see anything anymore. I'm not sure what's going on anymore.
