UNAIDS: Expanding the Global Partnership to End Discrimination

To Celebrate the Human Rights International Day, the Executive Secretary of the Network of Women Sex Workers of Latin America and the Caribbean (RedTraSex) and the UNAIDS Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, have the honor to invite you to participate in the Launch of the Global Partnership For Action to Eliminate all Forms of HIV related Stigma and Discrimination in the Latin American and Caribbean region. This event is of great relevance to highlight the importance of promoting this Partnership in our region and to raise awareness about the need to strengthen joint and multisectoral cooperation to respond and eliminate stigma and discrimination related to HIV. This event will take place virtually on December 10, 2020, 16:00 - 18:00 (Argentina) / 14:00 - 16:00 (Panama), and will feature a panel discussion that will include interventions by:

Elena Eva Reynaga, Executive Secretary of RedTraSex and Coordinator for the Latin American and Caribbean Region of the Global Partnership For Action to Eliminate all Forms of HIV related Stigma and Discrimination.

• Marcela Romero, Regional Coordinator of RedLacTrans, president of ATTTA Red Nacional and Director of Casa Trans.

• Marcela Alsina, Activist for the rights of People living with HIV / Red Bonaerense de PLHIV and Integra the MLMC +.

• Dr. Ginés González García, Minister, Ministry of Health, Argentina.
• Dr. Cesar Núñez - UNAIDS Regional Director.
