Argentina: Santa Fe man is stabbed to death

40-year-old man was stabbed to death at his home in the Santa Fe city of Reconquista. According to judicial sources, a group that works for the rights of sexual minorities denounced that it is a "hate crime". The victim was identified as Roberto Monje.

Judicial sources informed Télam that the body was found yesterday at his home, in Ludueña 1020, by the domestic employee, who when arriving at the place did not receive responses from the man. The woman went to the area where Monje worked and asked employers if they knew anything about the man, but they replied that they had not heard from him since Friday, so they decided to alert the police. Upon arriving at the victim's house, the officers warned that the door was open and that Monk was lying dead in the bathroom, with several stab wounds to his body.

After the discovery , prosecutor Alejandro Rodríguez, from the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPA), intervened who ordered the corresponding autopsy and a series of expert reports at the home where a broken glass and traces of blood were found.
