Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The Interreligious Committee of Sinaloa, will be attended this Wednesday by local deputies to hear their position regarding the legalization of equal marriage.
The president of the Jucopo, Graciela Dominguez Nava, said that, after the petition that the Catholics made through a display in this media, the Congress will antender its call with a willingness to dialogue and consensus.
She added that Morena's parliamentary group has always spoken out in favor of respecting the human rights of all without distinction and recalled that the Supreme Court of Justice has already issued a resolution in favor of marriage between people of the same sex.
"On my part and on the parliamentary group, we have reiterated our commitment to guarantee the right to equal marriage and there is also a pronouncement from the Court and the Human Rights Commission, every citizen must have the freedom to choose," he said.

Diputados locales escucharán a católicos sobre la iniciativa de matrimonio igualitario durante este miércoles en el Congreso.
Culiacán, Sinaloa.- El Comité Interreligioso de Sinaloa, será atendido este miercoles por los diputados locales para escuchar su postura en relación a la legalización del matrimonio igualitario.
La presidenta de la Jucopo, Graciela Dominguez Nava, precisó que, después de la petición que los católicos hicieron a través de un desplegado en este medio de comunicación, el Congreso antenderá su llamado con disposición a dialogar y consensuar.
Agregó que, el grupo parlamentaro de Morena siempre se ha pronunciado a favor del respeto de los derechos humanos de todos sin distinción y recordó que, la Suprema Corte de Justicia ya emitió un resolución a favor del matrominio entre personas del mismo sexo.
“De mi parte y del grupo parlamentario hemos reiterado nuestro repaldo en que se garantice el derecho al matrimonio igualitario y además hay pronunciamiento de la Corte y de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos, todo ciudadano debe tener libertad de elegir”, dijo.
Sim embargo, aseguró que el Congreso es abierto y tomará en cuenta todas las posturas de la ciudadanía en relació al tema.
