New report from the Never Again association
A report on racist, homophobic and xenophobic behavior related to the pandemic has appeared, prepared by the Never Again association. Over 30 pages describe, among others homophobic tweets, statements by clergy and politicians, as well as acts of violence.
The Never Again Association, which publishes reports on racist, homophobic and xenophobic behavior in Poland every year , has issued a report on the "hate virus", i.e. acts of violence and discrimination caused by hatred and prejudice during a pandemic.
According to the association: " The authors of the report recorded cases of assaults on minorities who were unjustly blamed for spreading the virus , as well as numerous hate speech and conspiracy theories about the epidemic spread by the extreme right."
The report includes information about homophobic Twitter entries whose authors accused LGBT + people of being responsible for the spread of coronavirus. Mention was also made of the words of the former deputy minister of health and former chief sanitary inspector, Zbigniew Hałat, who said that WHO deals "mainly with its own affairs, and thus primarily the promotion of LGBT culture or so-called genderism, instead of just what to live from and thus combating infectious diseases. " The report also reports about the Małopolska school superintendent, Barbara Nowak, who recognized that LGBT + people pose a greater threat than a pandemic , as well as about clergy using their positions to spread false information about non-heteronormative people. There was also information about homophobia in the football environment.

WARSAW. In March and April, the Fronda Catholic internet forum turned out to be a field of particularly intense dissemination of bizarre conspiracy theories about coronavirus. Here are some examples of such entries:
