Westboro Baptist Church know they’re hated, but they were never expecting what happened at one protest. Four members from the Kansas-based ‘God Hates Fags’ hate group wished to protest at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Carnegie Mellon allows trans people to use the bathroom of gender they identify as, and also has non-gendered restrooms available. In response to the hate group, hundreds of counter-protesters fought back drowning out the church’s hate with chants, drums, and bagpipes. Read more via Gay Star News
