The coronavirus is having an uneven impact among the population of Latin America. Given labor discrimination and limitations in the enjoyment of rights and access to public services, LGBTI populations are suffering the consequences of this global pandemic more markedly, like other marginalized groups.
Representatives of our partner organizations in the region will tell us about the impact of the coronavirus on the LGBTI populations in their countries, the needs they have identified, the measures that governments should take and the role that LGBTI political and citizen participation has in order to protect Our rights.
