Um grupo formado por novos guardas municipais de Jundiaí assistiu a uma palestra sobre como abordar pessoas LGBT e mulheres. A iniciativa acontece após agentes mais antigos liderarem um movimento pedindo a exclusão das chefes femininas dentro da polícia. A Prefeitura da cidade condenou o ato e defendeu a igualdade entre todos os componentes.
As questões de relacionamento foram explanadas durante a apresentação por integrantes da Rede Jundiaí 50-50 e a ONG Aliados. O objetivo é melhor orientar os novos profissionais que estarão nas ruas a partir dos próximos meses de junho e julho.
Em sua página do Facebook, Mariana Janeiro, que comandou a palestra, viu o resultado da palestra como positivo. “Vocês conseguem imaginar quão enriquecedor (ainda que num primeiro momento não pareça) que um GM ouça, durante sua formação, como as transexuais e travestis se sentem nas ruas? A group of new municipal guards from Jundiaí attended a talk on how to approach LGBT people and women. The initiative comes after older agents lead a movement calling for the exclusion of female bosses within the police. The City Hall condemned the act and defended equality among all components.
The issues of relationship were explained during the presentation by members of Rede Jundiaí 50-50 and NGO Allies. The goal is better to guide the new professionals who will be on the streets from the coming months of June and July.
