Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced today that the previously scheduled federal court hearing on the constitutionality of President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender individuals serving in the military will go forward on Tuesday.
Pro-equality champions in the Senate and House of Representatives reintroduced the Student Non-Discrimination Act (SNDA)—legislation that would protect LGBTQ students from discrimination in schools throughout the country.

The campaigners will also hand in a 30,000-strong petition to 10 Downing Street on Wednesday at 2.30pm, calling for the Government’s support in passing marriage equality legislation for Northern Ireland to bring the region into line with the rest of the UK.
